contoh course design yang saya buat bersama kelompok saya untuk tugas final mata kuliah English For Spesific Purposes.
ini bisa dibilang layaknya sylabus yang kita gunakan untuk mengajar selama 3 bulan , setiap kelompok dalam kelas kami mempunyai course yang berbeda-beda.
Course design kelompok kami ditujukan untuk para pelayan restaurant.
Awalnya saya dan teman-teman kurang paham, tapi dosen terus memberi arahan , dan kamipun tidak berhenti-berhenti bertanya, yaa jadilah.

ENGLISH FOR WAITER/WAITRESS OF RESTAURANT
The meeting of this course is 2 times in a week until 3 months.
OBJECTIVES :
- At the end of the course, students are able to :
1. Identify what is in restaurant
2. Identify Menu
3. Be able to know about payment
4. Identify some expression
5. Be able to ask for something
Based on the objectives above , we get the subjects :
1. - The equipments/facilities in restaurant
o Mention things in restaurant
2. - Identify many kinds of food and dessert
- Identify many kinds of drink
o Offer the food and drinks to the customers.
3. - Many kinds of payment
o Tell the customers about the payment in the restaurant.
o Tell the customer about the prices of food and drinks.

2. Offer the food and drinks to the customer

o What will you have for your lunch?
o Do you want our best food and drink in this restaurant?
o Do you want some desserts ?
3. Tell the customers about the payment in the restaurant
o Cash , credit/ATM card
- We take payment of cash and credit/ATM card.
- You can pay by cash or credit and ATM card.
- I am sorry, we do not receive cheque, or anything for guarantee.
Tell the customers about the prices of food and drinks
o The food prices is from Rp. 30.000 – Rp. 75.000
o The Drink prices is from Rp. 5000 – Rp. 22.000
o The Dessert prices is from Rp. 15.000 – Rp. 46.000
o You can look at the menu for detail sir/ma’am.
o We will give you the bill that we have counted all the prices of anything your order.

5. Ask for empty chair or table

Ask for menu

o Today, we have a special menu.
o We have some traditional food of Indonesia. Are you interest?
o There are foreign foods too. There are Japanese, Koreanese, Chinese, Italian, French, and Vietnamese food.
o What else?
o We have many kinds of drink such as many kinds of juice, soft drink.
o Do you want some desserts? We have many kinds dessert too. There are fruits, pudding, and cup cake, chocolates and ice cream.
Ask for bill
o Here is the bill.
o Here sir, fifty four thousand rupiahs.
o You need to pay us by cash or ATM card.
o I am sorry we do not take check.
o What kind of your ATM card?
o Excuse me, please pay over there.

The meeting of this course is 2 times in a week until 3 months. So, along 3 months we have 24 times of meeting. The meeting will just be 1 hour.
